7 Wax/Sealant Durability Shootout(muliple pics)

Great test here and on par with my own findings in regards to Jetseal 109. I still use it myself, but I always have to top it with a wax. I still use it on wheels as it does quite well there, but on paint, I don't get ANY durability. A week tops. And the beading is awful.

Sorry I never finished, I moved and sold my jeep within 2 weeks of my last post on this thread.

:lol

That's hilarious!

All that buildup, and the car was sold 2 weeks later!

:lol

I sold it privately, and I have wondered if they noticed the different beading on the hood when it rained. Wondering what the hell?

I like Chemical Guys and spend a lot of money with them, but the disappointment with Jetseal109 is disheartening considering what they charge and claim. I found CG likes to re-label, re-color, re-fragrance the same product sometimes.

from looks of hood its hard to tell any difference. but souveran does look like it darkend the paint.

Good Thread. Thanks to the OP for posting!

Regarding this "sqeak test", I would imagine that this would apply to any product, sealant or wax alike as it would help demonstrate if there is anything bonded to the paint essentially? Hence a tool to help determine how long a product is adhering to the surface....

judging by the beads,

476

50/50

Optimum car wax impressed me...

especially OCW, I mean, spray car wax. wow!

the picture right after the the waxes and sealant were applied, it was hard to see a difference between all of them.

not sure what to say about the non 50/50 CG products once again this is all judging by the beads.
