Hello,

The horizontal test panel is from a Black 2007 Jeep Wrangler.

The Jeep is driven 70miles a day Mon-Fri

I plan on washing the test panel once every Sunday for 3 months, reporting back every month.

I live in Southwestern Virginia were today it was low to Mid 40's at 12:30pm.

Prep

Washed with Optimum No Rinse

Clayed the Test Panel

Quick polish with 7424/Menzerna Final Polish

Finish was squeaky clean to the touch

Products

Chemical Guys Jet Seal 109

Chemical Guys Top Coat

Chemical Guys 50/50

Chemical Guys Factory Sealant

Collinite 476S

Optimum Car Wax

Pinnacle Souveran Paste

I ran a non-protected "Control" strip across the center of the panel, where each product is adjacent to a portion of a non-protected surface. A light to moderate rain came 5 hours after applying products.

5 hours later after a light natural rain. It was dark so a Flash is used.

Wow! Nice test. It is hard to tell from the pics, but which one gave you the deepest, darkest look?

With the lighting conditions today I really could not tell a difference between them. If I had to pick one it would be 50/50.

Yes.........from the pictures I liked the 50/50. But it's hard to tell by a picture. Iv'e been knockin around puting 50/50 overtop OPS. Seems like that would be a good combo. I still have time to figure what I will out on my black boxster as it won't see the light of day for another month or so. Welcome any suggestions............I have been a long time Zaino user.

Great test, thanks! I'm interested in how JetSeal stacks up. That CG-FS didn't look like it was beading very much, was it sheeting the water off?

I think this backs my belief that outside of the beading, the appearances are remarkably similar--even the control panels looked great compared to the lsp's. To me, its all about ease of application and removal. Sometimes I think the eyes justify our purchases to make us feel better.

Nice test btw.

Great test! I'm certain it will address questions many of us want to have answers for. There will be some surprises.

I get 19-20 mpg. Not much stop-n-go driving. 32in. stock tires, Two-door hard top w/ 6 speed. I have a Rubicon which is the heaviest two-door.

Great test. As an aside, I would love to see someone do this with Zaino and Ultima.

I can do it if someone sends me the zaino product and correct zaino prep product so no one crys that whatever was under it was unfair towards Ultima

I can do a few sections with different products just do not have any zaino laying around.

obviously will need very little I can paypal someone shipping money if really necessary
