I actually used the new Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (from the consumer line) by hand with a yellow foam applicator to polish around the letters...by hand.
 
Now There's some work to put in my 'when I grow I want to be able to do -this-' file!



That came out nice, real nice..

That old 1972 Pontiac Ventura next? If it was a 73 I'd be up there with checkbook in hand!
 
Wow. After looking at the before pictures, I would have never guessed it had the potential to look that good. Right on Dave!
 
Thanks guys. I learned a lot from this car...the main thing I learned is it is good to carry at least 10 different compounds, and a bunch of different wool pads to a job with you, because you never know what you will need...LOL.
