68 Camaro SS Full Paint Correction by Richie's Custom Detailing

This 68 Camaro SS was brought in for a full exterior restoration.







As she was dropped off.

You can see here that anpther detailer had rolled the clear previously, which is the point right before striking through the clear.







The paint reading on this spot showed 650 microns and goes to show that even if you have high paint readings it doesn't necessarily mean there is is alot of clear to work with.







Needless to say i avoided this spot like the plague.

Great work on a cool car.



I had a '69 Camaro that was also black. My first black car, and I washed it at least twice a week. That is the car that really started my passion for detailing....back in the early 80's.
