First let me apologize about the lack of befores.

Wash:

Foamed with GC and the Gilmore

Washed with the highest dilution CGs Citrus Wash and Gloss to strip the old wax with white schmitt

Wheels received just a wash with a black scmhitt

Bed liner blasted with pressure washer

Clay using clay magic blue and CG QD

Engine was fairly clean so it just received a wipe down with QD

Painted surfaces got OCW

Metal got EO Nevr dull-as did the exhaust tips and front and rear bumpers

Paint correction:

Before

(Sorry about the lack of befores again)

This car was a total repaint so the paint was hard as a rock. The entire car was covered with deep swirls, marring, and isolate scratches from the engine install. The owner mainly just wipes the car down with Adams QD. Unfortunately the dust in the desert is rather coarse. :nervous2:

SSR 2.5 on LC Orange x 2

OC on LC White

Opti-Seal

Nattys Blue

Wheels recieved a coat of opti-seal as well

After opti-seal

:bow Awesome El Camino! The paint looks very wet too.

What mods? I see the Holley (or is that a Demon?) carb and all the braided hose...what else?

Unfortunately, I know nothing about old domestic cars.:bat So I really have no idea.:sadpace: All I remember is him telling me that engine came out of a vette.

since we're doin' retro... here's a cherry

I meant to find the engine bay shots... I say Holley v2 Pumper 390cfm

I hope this isn't taken as an attempted hijack, here's one of my bike as a salute.

very nice camino!!!

Looks like a Holley to me. Other than that I see an aftermarket intake manifold and headers.

Nice detail! Gotta love El Caminos.

That's some great work there on a very cool street rod:goodjob

With this Camino and "Pro's" Camaro it seems there is a theme of retro street rods going on....I'm loving it!

:kewlpics That's a sweet vintage Gibson. A friend of mine owns a old and battered, 100% original Les Paul.
