65 Shelby Cobra

Thank you for all the kind words. Due to this customer, he's put my card in the hands of members of both the Ferrari Club of America as well as Porsche Club of America. It's looking as though 2008 will be a very productive year of expansion of my clientèle base.
 
It was a pretty funny story what ol' Shel tried to pull with those replicas...he originally claimed that they were not replicas, but "new" cars, that he had 500 bodies left over from the 60's that he was going to use and put new powertrains in them...best of both worlds, an "authentic" Cobra with a modern engine! It smelled pretty fishy to a lot of people (storing 500 bodies for 30 years) and ol' Shel just dodged the slammer IIRC for trying to bilk people out of $500K for a replica. I'm sure someone will look this up and prove how bad my memory is.
