Here are some shots of a 65 Mustang fastback I'm working on

It in decent condition, with some minor spider webbing and swirls from a rotory:

Here are some shots with more when I"m finished:

That is awesome looking! I know its a black car in the shade, but you have proven your work with those before/after pictures with the flood light. The Fuzz takes his hat off to you. :bow

:wait :wait THE FUZZ WHERES A HAT, what is the world coming to? Why would you want cover your mullet :nono :nono

That's true... I guess me taking off my hat isn't much of a compliment. How about I change it to 'I tip my mullet to you' or something like that? A picture like that deserves the highest compliment that I can muster. Its a great shot and great before and after work.

Great shot of great work! - But d*mn you! Just when I'm feeling good about my car you have to post something that shows how far I still have to go!!!
:duel

:mohawk but seriously, you are the man!

I love those Stangs, my next resto project is going to be a 65-68 fastback. I've got a 65 Fastback, 64 Falcon, and possibly 3 Torinos to do in the next couple months. I'm definatly digging up a digital camera for those.

wow, thats a really great job... just out of curiosity, do those older models of cars have clearcoats (and seatbelts)? probably not right? if not, then was the result different when you tried to apply products to a paint that didnt contain a clearcoat?

blkyukon, is that single stage paint like my 65'? Great results!!

This was repainted and clearcoated.

Finally done afer working my a$$ off removing rotary haze off of it. The previous owner butchered it
