Well this title may seem a bit familiar because it is, but its a different car.

Here are pics of the coupe I posted before.

Well, the owner called me up and said he bought a new toy, well here is the new toy.

The swirls were really bad on this car, the picture doesn't do them justice. The car was a single stage repaint and was pretty thin.

Swirls before:

I know, I couldn't get the same lighting as before because about 3 1/2 hours had elapsed, 3:00 to 6:30, so forgive me for the black car in shade pictures.

So here was the process-

Wash with PB's S&W mixed with Final Detail

1Z UPP with orange cutting pad with PC

1Z PP with white polishing pad with PC

VM with polishing pad

Souveran by hand

So he now has both and they are basically a twin set- one roadster, one coupe, both black exterior and silver interior, very rare.

Amazing cars and beautiful work on both! I remember that first car and drooled a bit, but to know he also has a roadster too?

I'll bet his wife is beautiful and his kids have perfect teeth too!

Thanks for the compliments everybody. I usually don't post pictures of cars I do, but I think these are just kind of special. He was one of my very first customers and I just love making these Vettes shine right before a show.

This was the first time I used the 1Z UPP on a single stage paint job and it certainly moved some paint. I really like it though, its more aggressive than DACP and easier to work with than #84 with a PC as #84 is meant for a rotary. Truthfully, this job probably should have gotten a rotary, but I still don't feel comfortable enough with the rotary on this nice of a car. The UPP did leave a considerable haze, but the PP brought back most of it and I used the VM to even out the shine because there were some streaks and such. Overall, I was pretty happy with the way it came out, but there were still some stuff I just couldn't get out, but like I said, the paint was thin.
