Yep, it was hammered!! This is not what I wanted see. Corvette clear is the hardest clear to correct IMO—it’s like polishing concrete!! I knew that the paint would not be correctable to 100%, but I thought that 80% was attainable. I was very happy to see that after polishing, it was at least 90% corrected.

Next up was HUGE, BLACK Nissan Armada. L

The truck was not only huge, and black, but also very marred. I had my work cut out for me.

The master :bow :bow :bow !!!

After my hellish time with a vette, I commend you on your work performed here!

Absolutely stunning results!! I always enjoy your work and process. Your first pic of the vette is exactly why I dont trust *some* click and brags. Your great sun pics really show off your fantastic abilities and results!

Great work on the vette. Approx how many passes with the HTEC/Op to get it nice?

Black on the big dog looks great too!

Vette came out very nice but I wasn more impressed with the big truck because personally I would of turned down that truck :chuckle: Too darn big...and black on top of that....oh man, my hats off to you :2thumbs:

Looks great, Joe. That Corvette is a monster. I love how it looks stock but would give a Ferrari a run for its money.

Couldn't have done it without you man, THANKS!!

Thanks guys--I must say that I am thinking of either charging double for vettes, or turning them down all together. :D

Anthony, all things considered--I still think that I would rather buff that Armada as opposed to the vette.......or maybe not. :D Thanks man...

gmblack3a, I just work it unitl the OP in the mix breaks down. I consider this process to be one pass. Is that what you are asking? Or do you mean how many passes does this process take?

Yes, Polish breaks down and you wipe it off=1 pass. How many of those passes? :waxing:

Thanks!

You continue to amaze me! :bow

We all know how tough a 'Vette can be but those big Nissans aren't easy either. The owner must have really worked that brush against the paint to mar it that bad because I have been regularly washing/waxing a Titan with the metallic grey and it is still 95% swirl free after about 21 months-and no polishing!

Now that you have the finish swirl free, if the owner washes it PROPERLY it'll stay swirl free for quite a while. :)

I would say that it takes about 6 passes or so per section, but I do it more by look than counting the passes. Next car that I do, I will count to see how many passes it takes to break down. :D

Sneek, I don't think it's a procharger, I believe it is another company's, but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks guys!!!
