6" Edge 2000 pads on a rotary

Is there any difference in construction or material between the DA pads and the rotary pads?

I'd like to use my 6" Edge 2000 waffle on my rotary this weekend.

Feel free to do so!! The DA pads are made using a high temp glue because the action of the DA causes alot more heat on the back of the pad not the surface. While the Rotary pads may not hold up on the DA the DA pads will work great on the Rotary. The foams are the same high quality we use on our rotary pads. Let us know how they work for you.

Thanks. I thought the torque a rotary produces might rip a lesser pad to pieces.

I have used 3M pads for years, I now am completely on Edge pads. I am doing a black Ferrari 360 spyder on Saturday for a friend and wanted to use a smaller pad on the roatary due to the body curves.

So if your gonna switch off from DA to Rotary using the same pads the 6" DA pads are the way to go?
