5starshine.com

I looked over the site and my first impression is this another late night TV scam. I'm always leery of any company or product that touts that it last up to 5 years, remove swirls, resists dirt, never have to wax your car again, still on the car after 150 washes, US government uses it on air craft carriers, talks about PTFE which is what Teflon pans are made from. The video was pretty much a hype showed more of the woman sitting on the car AHHHHHHH and a bunch of military ships.

OK I think that I've said enough but if you are looking for true protection that lasts and will keep your car looking great for the life of it, its not in a miracle product. I'm not saying that this product will not offer some protection but there claims are a bit to much for me to believe.

True protection comes in years of care for the paint not a one time step. IMO

I recall a another "whiz bang" product being discussed a couple of months ago.

It brought me back to some funny, but true comments made by The Fuzz in response to claims made for durability: "We aren't typical consumers and we ceratinly aren't suckers. We don't want a product that will last for a year. I have a product that lasts over a year, it's called paint!":lmfao

IMO the same holds true here. For the money, the time, and the PIA references that I have read... I have come to a conclusion-

5* Shine = 5*Whine:whine
