This is the vehicle that I posted last week that I would be getting to work on as well as a '42 Caddy. Well when the Chrysler arrived, I thought: what the hell am I supposed to do? It looked pretty darned nice already. It's harder when the bar is set high to make a noticeable improvement but I did the best I could. The car had been painted not that long ago and was wet sanded between coats. Under the scrutiny of my powerful CFL's, I could see sanding marks and the like, but the customer didn't want me to go crazy on this one. Besides, this was the 1st vehicle I was doing for him, so I didn't want to hit him with a huge bill. The yellow colour hides a lot of sins in the sunlight. This is a really cool car with some modern conveniences like A/C but made to look original; what a cool driver!! You can see that it's been lowered substantially in the front.
