50 layers zaino picture

I know Dr. Bonz from my days on my350z.com. He has been a Zaino fanatic from the get-go and is even a bigger fanatic with his car. He's spent $$$$$$$$$ modding that car.

I believe that later that year that he applied the 50th layer, he stripped it off and started over. He told me that doing his car is great "mind relaxation" after performing othopaedic surgeries.

Hey....it's his car.......let him take care of it however he wants. The thing sure looks good!

Mike (2 vs. 50.....who cares?)

After all that work, he stripped it and started over??? Who, in their right mind, would put all that work into a car, achieving close to perfection, and then *start over*? You certainly wouldn't catch *me* doing something like that! No, sir! This bottle of IPA i have in my hand is just for.... ummm... *cleaning windows*, yeah, that's it! Now if you'll excuse me, I have some.. umm... "Windows to clean"!

My goal in life is to put 50 layers of Zymol on my car.LOL Now if that mythical greek dude had put 50 coats of Zaino on his wings they wouldn't have melted when he got to close to the sun-ROTFLMAO

Honestly, some people take the Zaino thing a bit too far. At some point it becomes a waste of money and polymers.

1 layer of Z5, 1 layer of Opti-Seal, 1 application of Z8:

My cousin went through an entire tub of Pinnacle Souveran in 2 months on his old Monte Carlo. I wonder how many coats that was. lol.

I don't think anyone said he shouldn't do it, just that they wouldn't because they think it's silly. It's the same way I feel about civics with 10 foot tall spoilers. It's there money, they can do whatever they please, I just wouldnt.

More cruicially perhaps.... much effort and careful machine polishing and burnishing of the finish - after which, I bet the paint looked pretty much like that before you put any LSP on if it was a correction detail...

All three products amped up the finish noticably.
