50/50 vinegar and water for water spots... but will it do anything else?

FYI. I really did search thouroghly.



Q.

When removing water-spots from the body, what is the mixture ratio between Vinegar and water? 50/50? Straight V? aaaand, it is Distilled White V, correct?

so what's the answer! I'm keen to know more about it! How do u use the mixture to remove these water spots? I don't think using anything will help spots that have etched into the paintwork right?
 
From what I have read, put 100% Vinegar in a little sray bottle and saturate the area with the spots. Wait a minute or two, then use a pretty damp foam sponge to rinse off. Wash car and then clay vinegared area. Could take a few applications of vinegar over a few washes/weeks but if the spots are NOT etched in they should fade to next to nothing or nada at all. Don't forget that the V removes the glaze and sealant :) HTH.

I've used the 50/50 mixture and One Grand Special Touch. Personally, I prefer Special Touch to remove water spots. You might want to check it out. I think you would like it. Just an FYI.
