5.5" or 6.5" LC Pad

I feel that CCS pads offer longer working times. I notice the difference with ZPC and I think you'd notice it with Menzerna as well. With Optimum the flat pads would work fine.

I didn't think the 5.5" low pros on special were even LC. I thought the $14.99 orange/white special were the same brand as the 6 pad 5.5" orange closeouts. I have the orange closeout pads they are handing out. The foam feels quite a bit different to answer your question. I don't know how those LC, non CCS pads are though. I bet they are the exact same foam so i wouldn't hesitate. The orange closeout pads aren't terrible but I don't plan on using them on anything serious, they are just too stiff for me. I wish I could post some links to make this easier to differentiate between pads.

When you click the product for the 4 pads special on AG, the description sasome links to make this easier to differentiate between pads.ys that they are Lake Country Pads. It would only cost me a few bucks more to get the CCS pads (they're on special right now too), so I might just get the 5.5" CCS pads instead.

I got the 5.5" low profile pads free with Menzerna, then I decided what the heck, try them - then I was hooked. I ordered the orange and white set from AG. I was using LC 6.5" flat pads, and still use the blue/gray for applying wax, zaino, and glazes. But, if you want to do any correcting with a PC, Menzerna and 5.5" orange, flat, low profile pad is the way to go, IMHO!

Yeah, you were talking about those but I was referring to the orange pads with the first line being:

Orange Low Profile 5.5 Inch Pad 6 Pack CLOSE OUT

The LC ones you posted may be nice I don't know. I wasn't that impressed with the orange closeouts though. They look the same but I bet the LC foam is better. I do know that I love my CCS pads though.

I was on properautocare.com and saw some CCS pads on sale. I think it was 2 for $12!



I got my order in with my Big blue WW towels, Micro Restore, and the 2 white CCS pads.



I looked at them, and they have that "low profile" look to it. I'm used to the thick foam kind. Anyway, does anyone know how well the low profile pads work....mainly the white pad.

i'd love to try out some 5.5 inch pads on my PC. i only have an orange, white and grey 6.5 inch and i feel that they're big and bulky, which makes correcting and getting in tight areas a lot harder. does anyone want to trade anything for some 5.5s?

The 5.5 work great with the PC, they give you more control and cutting power.

I voted 6.5 but i use both depending what I am doing. Personaly I like the 6.5 pads.
