5.5" or 6.5" for rotary?

Depends on the panel size and shape of the car. Just like Dan, I carry a wide variety of sizes to handle all scenarios. I prefer to use the 6.5" when ever possible though.
 
Aside from the 4" pads on occasion, I mostly use the 5.5" pads, but as indicated above, I will sometimes use the 8" right look pads.
 
I mostly use 6.5" because Lake Country doesn't make a 5.5" curved CCS pad. I also use a 4" flat CCS pad for my mini buffer.

When using a rotary, I do most of the work with 6.5" pads but obviously use 4" pads or 5.5" when necessary. Never got around to using anything larger than 6.5" though.
