$450,000+ worth of car shined to perfection

I knew it was an EB110. :chuckle:

You are one he** of a detailer. After looking at youre work on that old '41 Plymoth on MOL, I can honestly say you do some of the best work I have ever seen.

Keep it up, and cant wait for the EB110.

Ben

your work is simply stunning :getdown :getdown :getdown :spot

1 - stupid stealerships!! My understanding of ceramiclear is that it is a superficial layer. So it is gone now.

2 - looking at the 2 cars side by side - the lambo ""looks""" much better to me. :secret those wheels are really **u. g. l. y.** on the EB

3 - that garage looks worse than ours and I am in debt. :D:D:D

4 - what camera do you use?

WRONG! This is misinformation spread by those that do not understand the paint.(I'm not directing this at you, but I'm sure you know of who I am speaking of).

The ceramic portion is the dense portion of the paint, if you buff through it you would end up in the spongy layer of the clear(much like removing more than .3-.5 mils in standard clearcoat) and could lead to clearcoat failure, depending on how far into the "sponge" you've polished.

I am glad you are correcting me. It is posted on FK1's message board. Forgive me for missinforming.

You might want to reread my post, I said I wasn't directing the information at you, and I specifically didn't want to involve the particularly vendor that is spreading this misinformation, but since you already named them, no big deal I guess.

I wasn't trying to contradict you, just pointing out that you were GIVEN bad information.

maybe my post didn't come through as I intended it. I know you didn't directed it towards me. However the FK1 info is on a public forum so I didn't think it was an issue mentioning it.

It ia all ok.

What is sad is that with proper washing, the ceramiclear paint takes forever to get spider swirls. The S550 I regularly wash is still absolutely swirl free after the nearly 5 months I've been washing it weekly.

Super job on an amazing car!! I love following your posts because you do awesome work, and are one of the few regular rotory users like myself. Quick question, was was your pad combination that you used, and what are your thoughts on #9's finish that it leaves?

Outstanding! Not only the details, but the fact that you landed such a high end client. Care to tell what his profession is?

I love the shot of you buffing under the sideskirt on the SLR...DETAILS win the match!

Sean how do you tackle that area when you detail? I have to try that once one of these days.

The same way, but my knees are pretty good, so I don't need to go onto my back.
