#425... I hate when people say WOW!

I have tried Fx100 + the 425 spray and honestly I have never seen my truck look so shiny. The fx100 is so easy to apply and there is hardly anything left to remove too. I have no idea as to its durability though.

But wow!

I just got my 1 gallon jug of 425. I poured some in an empty spray bottle and decided to try it on a couple of panels... That was a mistake. I ended up applying it to the whole car. This stuff is great to use and the smell is addicting. The glossiness and slickness are the best that I've seen from a QD. I'm already planning on picking up another gallon jug of this stuff since I go through QD like water. Great product. :bigups

Well I think that there may be an aussie made challenger to the FK1 425 crown

Showroom Glaze. does more than just protect and make paint slick, can use by machine, extends working time of polishes, polishes windows.

I must get myself a gallon of 425 though

I think it's great stuff, but.... I find that over P21S carnuba, Griot's SpeedShine gives me what I'm looking for. If I'm QDing over a sealant, 425 is my choice.

I sure won't knock the SpeedShine for use on carnauba. I kind lean towards that combo and FK425 on sealants too...though I would stick with the FK425 on everything if I could only have one product.

Wow!

Received my order today (I ordered a gallon since it was only about $32 shipped). I admit, I was a bit skeptical. I have been a long time Zaino Z6 user, and have always been happy with the results, but I was ready to try something new (I have used Poorboys Spray and Wipe, Pinnacle as well).

Anyway, I thought that based on the reviews here that FK425 would probably do as good as Z6, and it is cheaper, so why not try it. But I really didn't expect there to be any difference in terms of looks....especially on a Silver Metallic car.

Wow. Was I WRONG! This is a product that actually made a NOTICEABLE difference (improvement) in the look of the paint!

The car has 3 coats of Z2 on it, and I had been maintaining it with Z6. The FK425 has taken it to the next level! It is hard to know what words to use to describe the improvement, but I would say that the car has more of a "glossy" look to it (more than what Z6 did). It has a bit more shine to it as well....but the word that I would keep coming back to is "gloss"! :cooleek:

I'm looking forward to seeing how it works in terms of dust and increased protection, water beading etc. as others have discussed here.

So far I am very impressed....more than I ever expected to be! :2thumbs:

Another great recommendation from BigAl3! Thanks Allen! :up

i thought there was an autopia member discount for fk 425 (10%?)

can someone tell me the autopia code?

much thanks in advance

Damn I hate this forum. As soon as I think I know what to buy..something like this comes along. This place takes my money quicker than a strip club after 5 shots of tequila. :wall

I don't think there is a discount code for fk1usa.com

there isn't a 10% discount that i'm aware of, but there prices are reasonable for the good quality products they have anyway...

autopia is the code.

if you try to use "autopia" in the voucher section, it won't apply the discount. it doesn't look like they honor it anymore. the best thing to do if someone wants it, is to call and ask and maybe they will apply it over the phone, but if they don't, not a big loss as their prices are pretty reasonable for the excellent products they have anyway... :up

I started using 425 before Z6. Maybe that was the factor which made Z6 unsuccessful to me. I gave it away.

I thought the code was fk1wax_autopia. I can't remember if it worked on my last order though. I'm going to check my e-mails and see if I still have my last receipt.
