I tried the 4-star paint cleaner over the weekend on some cars that really didn't need the rotary, just needed a good cleaning before using the DAPC with a polish. I have found that it really cleans the paint well enough to set it up for the next step. I believe it is milder than the Meguiars. which is a good thing.
