3Mâ„¢ Liquid Wax vs Meguiars GC Wax

Hi.

I'm planning to top my Klasse SG x3 with one of these waxes (3Mâ„¢ Perfect-Itâ„¢ Show Car Liquid Wax or Meguiar's Gold Class Car wax). Whish one would gave me better results (protection, long-lasting and shine :xyxthumbs )?
 
Hmm, there haven't been many good reports about these two products on these boards and so while I haven't tried either, I can't recommend them. If you're looking for a good OTC wax visit your local Harley dealer and pick up a jar of S100.:up
 
Megs Gold Class is a cleaner wax and I would not top anything with it unless you want to remove some or all of the product under it. Of the two go with the 3M.
 
if you want a Megs product you could use 26-found locally at Pep Boys for $12-i've seen pics on red and it looks very good
 
I've used the 3m one and it's okay. I top it with a Black Carnauba wax from TOL.



I think 3m's liquid wax is different from their Paste wax.

In reading the MSDS for both I noticed that the Paste one has both Polymers and Carnauba.

Agreed. It is also more durable than Gold Class or 3Mâ„¢ Perfect-Itâ„¢ Show Car Liquid Wax.
 
Try the 3M PASTE version, Meguiar's 26 or Mother's California Gold.



I'd shy away from GC because of the cleaning abilities.
