rydawg said:Is that the headlight polishing kit? I did not realize they were that much money. I guess I am getting mine at a steal.
4 cars and the kit is payed for. I charge $100 to fix lights and they are all happy and never complain about the price. Takes 1 hour for bad faded ones.

Wet sanding by Mirka air sander
Full sanding on a Fiesta
Steve and Epoch really put together some excellent threads.
I am thinking of going the 2000/4000 Abralon discs route.
I was fortunate to acquire a griots air sander, but I just need to figure out if its a 3/32 or 3/16 throw.

It is an awesome kit, considering everything you get with it.

Accumulator said:Ah, I'll be interested to hear about that, whatever you end up using it for.
gmblack3a said:Looks like I will be selling the griots air polisher as it has a 3/8 throw. Which is fine for correcting paint like a PC, but not good for sanding.

Rydawg mentioned that you need an air sander with a pretty short throw... Is the air part important? Does anyone make an electric random orbit with the required short throw?
Thanks.
