3M SMR Question

What is the correct process I should go about using this product?

I have a buffer but it is a cheap on, nothing hi-tech.

Should I clay bar the car first, or just wash, use the SMR and "buffer" and then follow up with some NXT?

I just waxed the car today so should I wait a bit for the wax to come off?

Thanks for any help guys/gals.

Black car with a lot of swirl marks. Not that bad but when you get in the bright sun it's UGLY. :down

I used to use a craftman orbital buffer with 3m smr for black cars. Worked preaty good in removing (or hiding) swirls. Choose your wax well, since smr will remove and fill in swirls, you dont want to remove the filling.
