3m SMR differences???

I was hoping someone could tell me what the differnce is between 3m's SMR for light and dark colored cars. Currently I still have a bottle of SMR for dark cars that I used to use on my old black car. I have to so some swirl removal this week but it's on a Silver car.



Is there any danger to using the dark SMR on a light colored car?



If not I plan to use some Poorboys products, but I'd like to stick to SMR for a little more aggressive polish.



Thoughts?

No danger at all. It just has some fillers that are dark pigmented. I have used them interchangeably when necessary. In fact, I was faced with your same problem and a 3M rep set me straight.
