anybody ever use it, i found it at napa for half off and thought id give it a try. it looks to be a synthetic LSP, so would i put a carnuba under or over it ( if at all) to make it really look good? thanks for any help

Hmmm...this product is getting a bit of attention recently! We discussed it a bit on another thread this week and that one might be worth searching for.

I haven't used it since it was reformulated without the particular silicone ingredient so I don't know how the new version is. I did kinda like the old stuff though. I never thought of it as being especially synthetic; so many "waxes" are carnauba/synthetic blends and this one didn't seem especially notable with regard to that.

well it didnt say carnuba, so i assumed that it was synthetic, it has some sort of silicone. if it is good then i might buy quite a few of them b/c they had them on a half off rack.

anybody use 3m's car soap either, or wheel cleaner, they had it half off too...

3m's car soap I have used it and you can't get the residue off your hands no matter how hard you rinse. But it’s does a good job cleaning.

3m tire cleaner I got at a real cheap price like 2 gals for $20.00 it’s got the same ingredients as oven cleaner and the same ingredients as Deck stripper so I used it to strip the old stain off my redwood deck. And I saved $40.00 by not buying the $30.00 a gal for deck stripper.

 YIKES !!!!!

I've found that most of 3M's peripheral products (QD , clay, microfibers , etc...)

are either overpriced or they underperform or both.

Their polishes and wax , however , do a good job. And since they're available almost everywhere , not a bad way to go.

(Polishes dust like MAD)!!!!
