3m Perfect-it 3000 swirl mark remover?

A buddy of mine was kind enough to give a slightly used bottle of 3m Perfect-it 3000 swirl mark remover he didn't need anymore. I am having trouble finding what the general consensus is about this product on autopia. I won't be able to try it for awhile due to weather limitations. Any ideas on what it is like?
 
I myself have used it an like it works well 3m makes some good stuff.i also use the wet sanding system which is really dry sanding you can never messup and is always even an perfect evey time.i mainly use it if i have to sand the whole care or if it is a hign end detail than i use as i have to get it perfect .
 
Of the three 3M products I've used - Extra Cut, Swirl remover, and Ultrafina - all I can say is 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Swirl remover was a nasty, goo that flashed too fast and left marring.

3M glazes, polishes and swirl removers contain lots of fillers that stick really well to the finish. That's why it's difficult to remove accidental splatters on soft, black rubber trim.

If you're a filler type of guy, then its fine. But if you wanna remove the swirls, I would look elsewhere.



Maybe that's why re-sprayers love these 3M stuff so much. Just buff and cover the swirls.
