Have any of you guys used this stuff yet? I put a coat on the hood of my Chevy Volt, but it is almost impossible to get it to stick without running down on the sharply down-angled part of the hood.

Is there some trick I should know to use it on more vertical surfaces? Or it isn't really possible?

Thanks.

Im unfamiliar with using it but from my experience, spray products run when you put them on too thick. Maybe try lighter coats? Or do the instructions tell you to do it all in one coat?

Do multiple extremely light coats. I am not fully aware of the drying time, but I'd probably wait around 7-10 min in between coats. You want the product to be tacky when you go to put on the next coat.

guys, it self levels really well. i found that i put it on too thin so that when i changed my mind and tried to remove it it was hell! you must be so careful because it will spit and cause "hollidays" that don't quite level. i had amazing hopes for this and would have settled for the job i did but not for a show queen like my wifes car.

Have you ever messed with plasti-dip? It is very similar to the 3m stuff and if you don't put it on thick enough it won't remove very easily as well.
