anyone has expereience with 7.5" 3M Perfect It Plus Black foam finishing padpad before?



well I just bought one of their black pad for a cheap price.

however I am not sure what black means.



is it just waxing pad or a cutting pad?....haha:bolt
 
is it the one with the bumps on it?

It's a polishing pad. I wouldn't use it with a compound...maybe only a very mild polish or 3m perfect it machine glaze.



I really like these pads, they seem to work well and not slurp up the polish like others I've used.
 
I use that same pad often. It's for applying glaze or final product and works well. It washes out great and I can get months of applications out of it.



On another note, I also use the same pad for painted plastics (bumpers, rocker mouldings, etc) and the 3M light compound. It's not as harsh as a cutting pad and there's less chance for burning.
