3M Imperial Microfinishing Compound

Hello everyone,



I just bought a bottle of 3M Imperial Microfinishing Compound today, product number 06011. I have seen others mention this same product by name, but list the number as 39001.



Does anyone know if these are the same thing? If so, why the different numbers?



Even 3M has separate descriptions for them on it's website, but there doesn't seem to be much difference in the description, other than the 06011 is also used for marine applications.

Thanks. That's pretty odd. You'd think they would do something more like Meguiar's where the bottle size is embedded in the P/N but the base number stays the same.
