3M Imperial Hand Glaze via PC?

I bought a bottle of 3M "Professional Formula" Imperial Hand Glaze a while back when I just started to learn about detailing. I was just wondering if I can use this stuff via PC and is this strictly a glaze?

Someone else chime in since I'm by no means a professional, but I've got a bottle.



It works better by PC (finishing pad, speed 3-4) IMO. I've used it on black only and by hand it's a pain to remove, leaving streaks everywhere. With a PC, you can get it on thin enough that it's not so hard to remove. Looks great under Natty's Blue! It is a glaze only product so no sealants....
 
Good stuff, but...The thinner the better. I would rather do 2 thin coats (I know...I'm just sayin'!) of HG than one uneven, hand-applied mess. I have done that many times before, and it is a PitA to remove if dry. do one panel at a time with a PC if you are in a garage near the door, because the parts near the sun or open door will dry quicker.
 
I've use it, and only by hand. I like to simply use 2 towels for removing. 1 that gets 85% off, then another fresher one for a perfect finish. And yes thinner coats are easier.
 
IMO a whole lot of "by hand" products work better by PC and it might be a more pleasant way of doing it anyhow.



Guess there are different ways of using it, but I've done OK by letting it dry completely :nixweiss



FWIW IHG hasn't left my shelf since I did a side-by-side with Meg's #5 ;) #5 is perhaps *the* easiest product to use, period. I know that's off-topic but whenever somebody says IHG is a pain the #5 comes to mind...
 
IHG is tough to remove when appiled too heavy and/or allowed to dry,used in the heat.



I have a bottle from back in the day and use something else for glazing now.



If I were going to use it w/a PC I'd do like the others have said. Use thin layers and don't let it set up too long.
 
Yup, you can use it via PC alright.



But if I may be so bold... I've stopped using my IHG since I switched to Mother's Sealer & Glaze. It just doesn't compare.
