3M Foam Polishing Pads

I see the 3M foam polishing pads on sale locally for $1.49. These are the black waffle pads, 5 1/4" in diameter.



Does anyone have experience with these? Are they good for use with a PC?

I got a dozen for $1. I'm curious how they perform also. I couldn't pass it up. I also got 5 gallons of 3M Gloss Enhancer for $8. My wife thinks I'm crazy!
