Does this product have any cutting action?

It seems like the product contradicts itself, being a glaze, why does it say it removes compounding swirl marks... ??

BTW the 3m product line has got to be the most confusing ever....

PS. Anybody prefer the Poorboys polishes over the 3M line? There rating system seems like a no-brainer 3, 2.5 , 2 , 1....

If you mean Machine Glaze then no it doesn't have much cutting ability. It does remove compounding swirls quite nicely. And yes they seem to contradict themselves with their wording on some of their products like SMR and MG.

3m Foam Polishing Pad Glaze is 3M Swirl Mark Remover in a 32oz bottle. Yes it does have cut to it and will remove swirl marks. It has fillers to.

Salty,

3M Perfect It III Machine Glaze is a great product and is about a 4 on the abrasive scale. It does a great job of removing light swirls and leaves an excellent finish.

I am also told by the 3M sale rep that 3m Foam Polishing Pad Glaze is actually 3M Swirl Mark Remover in a 32oz bottle and I believed it is the 3M Perfect It III Finishing Glaze that might have a very mild or even no cut to it.

ok that makes more sense, do any of you know what is the least abrasive 3m product without fillers?

3M Perfect It III Machine Glaze is the least abrasive product 3M makes without fillers. There are 3M products with less cut but they have fillers, 3M Swirl Mark Remover and 3M Perfect It III Finishing Glaze are examples.

Just for your info Perfect It III is being replaced by Perfect It 3000. From what I am told PI 3000 is filler free also but I haven't tried it yet to confirm this.

Ok, i looked up machine glazes and found that there are several.... Imperial machine glaze, where does this one fit in? fillers?
