3M Finish Restorer?

..Went out to Wal-Mart earlier today to pick up some things, as well as look for Meg's ColorX (no luck on that), and came across some 3M Finish Restorer.

Has anyone heard of or used this stuff before?
How does it compare to ColorX?

Could you elaborate on "harder to use"?

By "stronger", do you mean to imply that this stuff better than ColorX?

You'll ahve to work it in a little bit longer to get the desired effect. Finish Restorer is a slightly abrasive compound, it won't leave any horrible scratches in your paint, but you have to go over each section for a longer time to get it to work well. ColorX is a Chemical cleaner, when you go over a section once the polish starts working on it's own. The finish restorer, if used effectively, will give you a much larger, and better, difference in how your car looks.

By harder to use I mean that you will have to rub harder and longer. By stronger I mean that it will clean the paint better. For most cases Color X will be fine , do the car twice and it will look great . If yow use 3m it will also look great but will be a little more work. If the car is really in bad shape you may have to go with the 3m. The wax finish in Color X will last longer.
