3m Dark swirl remover on light car

I would imagine it would perform the same, no matter what color you used it on. The polish doesn't differentiate between color. I would assume by the name "for dark colors" it may be a tad more abrasive or something. :dunno I say use it, and if you feel the need follow up with a finer polish. Just my .02
 
Other than the color, I beleive the polish for dark carks contains a few more fillers to hide swirls than the lighter car formula.
 
Thanks you guys I'm a newbie to the site. I'm a Zainoer at heart. Because this site I have recently purchased a PC 7424 with an 7.5 orange pad and a 7.5 white with the 6 inch loop weave and weight.
