3M black glazing pads

Has anyone ever used these pads? they are quite different than the other types I usually see.
 
I used to use them but the foam falls apart VERY fast. They're also thin and the backing goes to the edge of the foam....if you touch the edge to the paint it will scratch it. Of the pads I've used I like Edge pads the best.
 
You could 2 Edge pads for the same price ( i spotted them to on ebay) and they would last twice as long , not to mention be a better pad.
 
i tried them and hated them .. they really soak up alot of product .. i took em back they also fell apart the first time i used them on my pc
