3M Adhesive Surface Activator

I've been putting up some original factory add-ons to my car and for most of them, they were supplied with a packet of 3M Adhesive Activator to apply to the surface before the 3M tape. Well, when I got to the last piece, consequently being the largest, there wasn't a packet supplied, So I assumed I don't need it since they don't mention it.



Well guess what, it's the only piece not sticking well. It's holding, but I'm not happy with it. The area was treated the same as the rest, washed, dried, and then cleaned again with the 3M Wax & Adhesive Remover.



Is there anywhere local I can pick up the adhesive activator, or is there anything else to replace it? I'll have to get some new 3M tape as well, sigh.

3m trim glue not sure if the #. Treat it like contact cement. Put a thin layer on both pieces and let dry which will be very fast if thin and then use the 2 sided tape again and press hard as the tape is pressure sensitive.
