3D product comparison - AAT compound vs Adapt & Cut

What is the difference,if any between the AAT products in the 32 oz green bottles & Adapt & Cut. I know the Cut is more aggressive than Adapt of those 2. The descriptions of them is so close it is hard to tell the difference between them. I read the AAT is water borne but that is the only difference I saw.

AAT compound cuts a lot more than Cut. Also has a shorter work time. It`s meant for a rotary, and you can cut in 2 passes, finishes surprisingly well.

The AAT polish is more like HD polish than adapt. Seems to cut more than Polish+, but in side by side comparisons doesn`t seem to do that much more to justify the price difference for most.

Adapt is basically a heavy polish/swirl remover than finishes so well it can be a one step. That`s the great thing about adapt- cuts enough to almost be a lighter compound but still finishes like a nice polish.

I`ve used both sets (AAT Compound/Polish and Cut+Polish) and the biggest difference to me is the working time on a FLEX 3401 or rotary polish. The AAT system works with less passes in my experience. I wouldn`t recommend using AAT in the sun. Both sets are great, but I prefer the AAT system.

Here the biggest differences:

HD Line - Professional detailer and Enthusiast who are working with typically a DA polisher on OEM or cured paint.

AAT Line - Body Shops using Rotary on fresh paint.

Adapt is considered a Compounding Polish which is a polish that has heavy cutting capabilities. Because Adapt has been discontinued, a great substitute would be 3D AAT Polish. Same great level of cut and finish. Also, keep in mind that with the new Cut+, the finish it leaves can quite LSP ready when paired with the appropriate foam pad.
