i just dont want to spend that much money for this cheap i dont think i could go wrong

Dont get it... In reality its probably only worth $30. Just spend the extra $100 and bite the bullet. Get a porter cable 7424XP as they are SOOO worth it. Really easy to use and easy to learn on. The one here is a rotary, so it will take some work to get used to and I would recommend to be careful with one of those, especially with the wool pads. As a novice with that you can do more damage than good. Almost everyone would agree with me here that if starting out the porter cable is the best tool.

coastaltool.com for the PCXP at only 119!!! If its cheaper somewhere else, I havent found it (havent really looked either though)

but you might be able to get some good package deals from places like autogeek, detailersdomain, detailedimage, autodetailingsolutions

Not sure about 3D, but a few years ago I purchased a rotary polisher from Harbor Freight because it was cheap (around $40). 1 week and 3 cars later I went out and bought a Makita and haven't looked back since.

Don't skimp on these types of tools.
