I got some last week but i havent had much luck finding info on how to use it with out actually putting it in the mytee lite extractor.

Any info is apreciate it thanks...

Are you referring to using it without an extractor (i.e. by hand)?

DIRECTIONS:

Depending on the condition of the carpet or upholstery, use 4 to 8 ounces of 3D Extractor Shampoo for every 5 gallons of water. Although this product is low foaming, it is highly recommended to add an antifoaming agent as well. Thoroughly clean the carpet or upholstery with your extractor and let it air dry. If carpet is heavily soiled, first use 3D Orange 88 Citrus Degreaser as a pre-spotter.

No, sorry for the misunderdtanding. I do have an extractor but i dont want to use it in the solution tank. I want to spray it straight into the carpet and then extract it.. But idk if this shampoo would work like that..

I'm sure it could, but I don't think it will be as effective as in the tank. By using chemical, the dislodging/penetration force of the extraction is stronger.

Reading the instructions on 3dproducts.com, it is recommended to use the orange citrus degreaser diluted 1:10 for pre-spotting. The directions call for 4-8 ounces per 5 gallons of water in your extractor, so I'm curious if you could mix it in a 1:128 ratio for what you are describing?

*Edit - See David's response.

Yeah i was planing to use it in a 32oz bottle diluted to whatever ratio would work best..

I guess im going to do some testing around since there is not much info out there on this product..

I just use it in the extractor tank, and only on really dirty carpets. This is always after pre treating with APC of heavy duty degreaser, if the carpets are horrible.

If the carpets are mild, I will skip the extractor shampoo and just spray APC, agitate, then extract.

I don't think this product has enough power to pre treat.

There are a lot of "stains" than can be picked up with a microfiber towel and plain water. I pre-treat with my vapor steamer, then extract and go from there. Most carpets come out just fine with no need for chemicals. I've seen a lot of complaints from people saying they couldn't get stains out with just their extractor and hot water, but I from my own experience, they probably aren't letting the thing fully heat up. I wait until is steaming (hence steam cleaner) and I can feel the heat in my bones. If you wait until it's just "really hot", it's not enough!

I dislike having to use chemicals unless absolutely necessary.
