I was just looking at lights from HD earlier today... Looks like I have found out which ones I need to start with and then upgrade too... Plus they just look awesome!!!

i will take more pics & compare the Halogens to the LED. i have a couple more pics from the other night. my light tower has 7, 500W halogen bulbs. i use up to 2000w at a time. i want to see what the halogens look like from 10ft away in the same corner of the garage. the LED are BRIGHT!

Can't wait to see what the big dogs say. The energy/heat reduction is worth it for LED!

anxiously awaiting the results on the lighting more than anything. I'm a believer in LED. Didn't build this stand but I have par38 LED flood lights mounted in my shop and when compared to halogen I feel that I see more defects with the LED. its close though

Besides detailing, these bright lights are a Godsend to anyone who needs additional light just about anywhere without the heat normally associated with halogens....

When I'm working under the hood I set my halogens up, switch them on and start to sweat.....I also have to use sunblock...

Well a little update. After flawless service a part of "lil Johnny 5" died. He is survived by his right side twin. Just a little lopsided.
I knew this would happen eventually. It's been great to see others set ups posted when built.
So now time to change it up. Still like the timed motion sensor set up. Just will make it a separate part.
