303 aero vs DP protectant

Reeks?

I can barely smell it, after a day of the doors being closed I only get a very faint smell of leather.

I just didn't like the streaking I was getting with 303 and the price increase a year or 2 ago.

Use the 303 for vinyl and rubber. It says on the bottle(for leather) but I use a dedicated leather product for leather. I've had 303 on all my cars for years, and they all look just as good as when I bought them. My clients love it because it doesn't give off a greasy, shiny look. The 94 Cobra didn't have tint and 303 held up just fine. I actually found 303 at Tru-Value hardware while looking for a tool about 2 weeks ago.

For a low gloss look, try Megs' Quick Interior Detailer. You can use it on everything. And the price is right.
....I would go as far to say a "no gloss look". It leaves no visible residue and simply makes the surfaces look "OEM" and fresh. 1Z CP is my favorite (I like the smell) but the characteristics of QID are very similar. I use both and prefer them over the satin-like finish of 303 on interior surfaces. ....but don't get me wrong. I still use and love 303 (I buy it by the gallon), but my application of it is limited to some exterior bits, tires and the engine compartment most of the time.

Ya ordered 32oz 303, w/ some bundled microfiber cloths, and some detailing brushes, and also trying the optimum car wash shampoo. Thank god for AG's winter sale!!

The DP Interior Surface Protectant is a great product for Vinyl, Leather, Plastic and Rubber. It has excellent UV Protection and a nice matte finish. I personally have been using the 303 Aerospace Protectant for about 10 years and it is a great product. Once you use a product that works so well it is hard to switch to a different ptoduct.
