3 Series I was glad to finish!

Paul don't kick yourself in the a$$ mate - that's a damned good transformation and most importantly the owner's happy - that's all that counts at the end of the day IMHO.

Good work buddy!

Did you find that thing in a swamp? Inside and out -totally trashed! It would take quite an effort to get a car that filthy!

You did amazing. Really, that's one hell of a job!

Andrew, No not yet mate! lol Still got a few products left to try. I was actually thinking about topping the EX with it today. Will get him back over for 45 min to wash, dry and wax it. Will give me a chance to get some more pics, hopefully the interior will be still reasonably clean, although I may be surprised lol

Andy, I think if he'd been with me when I'd finished claying, and all those wonderful swirls were in full view, I may have kicked his a$$ lol Doubt if I'd have gotten paid though lol

Ben, I don't want to see one like that again either. Then again, I may have it's cousin to do in the next few days. Got a mondeo to do. Dopn't know what kind of condition it'll be in, but I doubt it's gonna be good!

Oh well, at least with a couple more of these, a Makita will be purchased, then they can look out.... no more laquer on your car now, mate, so no swirls to worry about! lol

JJ,

yeah, the clear on it did seem quite hard. The powergloss went on with a 4" pad and PRESSURE, and stilll very little improvement. I did actually wonder if I was gonna be able to make any difference at all, to be honest.

Good work there. Sometimes we tend to want perfection when obtaining it may be impossible (given the time constraints).

I'd rather start off with something mild and make steady progress than something real heavy that will make short work of job (and maybe the paint too)

I hope you charged ALOT. I did a car that looked about the same a while back and I too was dissapointed with the results. I made 3 passes with SSR3 on a yellow propel and didn't even follow up with SSR2/1 because the owner had to pick the car up and leave (I did Souveran it though)...he was in shock with "how good it looked" and already gave me a few referrals. You did away better job than me though.
