Anyone ever try this creeper before?

I always find myself awkwardly crawling around the floor to polish the lower panels and I'm hoping something like this will make it easier.

Already tired of the Husky? I'll send you $8 for it B). That creeper does look pretty awesome though. I too look forward to hearing some peoples thoughts on this. Maybe my feet wouldn't fall asleep when I am sitting on the ground and polishing if I had one of these.

No way, I love my Husky lol. I just can't get too low with it. To reach low with the Husky I still have to bend over in an uncomfortable position. I really like the 3rd position in the picture on my first post. I could see myself getting my legs under the car and being very comfortable to polish the front bumper or side skirts or rear bumper.

That is what caught my attention too. This looks like the next best thing aside from a lift.
 
Its nice but not for 100 bucks. if I was at this every day. I re consider. I have the 19 dollar Harbor Freight unit. Works for me.
 
if i was doing this full time or maybe even consistently part time, i'd consider getting one, $100 is cheaper than having back/knee problems.
 
Dunno. I use a $25 mechanics seat. Of course when I need to fix something under the car, I'm screwed laying on cardboard or concrete.

Honestly, you can buy a creeper and a mechanics seat for less than the cost of this thing - if you have the room.

I've never used that particular creeper and I've actually always avoided folding creepers.

Most people that I've known with them are pretty discontent with their purchase after a decent bit of use. They tend to get pretty loose in the joints and don't feel very stable from the get go. Just a general experience though seeing as I have never used that one. ATD is a pretty decent brand though.

I agree. I'd have to try it before I buy it.
 
We've got one of these exact creepers in the garage-gym, and while it's nice, I don't think I could use it for detailing. It's big for one, bulky almost. And thinking it over, it would be real easy to run it into a vehicle.
 
Thanks for the comments, you guys saved me a hundred bucks. I think I'll just suck it up and keep laying on the floor. This is the position I'm talking about btw...

Maybe I'll buy a rubber mat to lay down when I need to get in that position.
