#26.. paste vs. liquid

has anyone done a side by side comparasion between #26 paste and liquid? I'm using paste now, but being as I have a pc now I'm toying with the idea of liquid. I've seen reviews on but but not side by side.

I haven't done the side by side but I have applied #26 paste with an orbital. Just get one of the 4" touchup pads. Simoniz makes 4" velcro pads for thier r/o I wonder if they will stick to the PC velcro. Pads are like 4 for $10 and work great for applying and very easy to get uniform and thin with no induced swirls. They fit inside the #26 wax container. I just put it in there and hit the trigger to get wax on it.

Just a thought.

they made two paste versions, last october, their paste wax was a defect, and it applied poorly and streaked. Now they have changed the container, and its a better paste wax. I have the liquid #26 now, and its much easier to apply and remove. It won't last as long as the paste, but it will look just as good as the paste will.

The reason that the paste has better durability is probably because the paste wax will generally have fewer solvents (less "thinning" needed). I have found that often times the case with the liquids is their durability is down (compared to paste waxes) due to an increased solvent content.
