I am going to put another layer of KSG on my car today (my 2nd layer) and i was wondering if i could wait a few hours to put on some #26 or do i have to wait a full 12 hrs. Also is 2 layers good or should i do a few more? Thanks

I was actually planning on doing the same thing this weekend. I would imagine 3-4 hrs would be a suitable amount of time to wait for the #26. Somebody else please chime in though as I am not positive.

Do at least 3-5 layers of KSG. Then, if you really must put on #26, do it about a day after the last SG coat. Try spit-shining the #26 so you won't feel too bad that you topped the SG. I haven't been happy with any toppers except Souveran on darks or S100 on silver and Duragloss Aquawax as a maintenance wax. I usually leave the SG alone when I have 3-5 layers.

wow 3-5 layers of ksg huh, ok well i just finished my 2nd coat. i guess after every wash i will put a layer on. I find it easy to remove the ksg with some QD

i've grown to avoid using waxes and sealants together. yeah, you get a little extra durability by using both, but hey, who here needs durability besides during the winter season?

if you go with a sealant, keep it just that. in doing so, you can add on another layer whenever you want.
