#26 leaving slight streaks...

Sounds like you are using too much product. Spread it real thin and apply it to the whole car before buffing off the excess.

In my experience, #26 (paste) is a bit finicky in having a pretty well prepped surface too. I found that small contaminants would "catch" little bits of wax and make it streak.



If you are using the liquid version, never mind.
