Hi guys,

I decided to try out the new EX on the 206, after washing the family cars this afternoon.

It had Grojet and a layer of the old EX about 2 weeks ago. Added a thin layer with a damp mf applicator, and buffed off after 10 min. Very easy on/off, and it left a nice deep look to the paint.

Here we go....

I'll be trying out the Blue Natty's on it when that arrives sometime next week.

Thanks for looking

thanks guys :)

I like the new EX. I still have 2/3rds of the old EX bottle unused, but it was the sickness that made me buy the new one.... lol

I've never had any issues with the old EX. It was always easy on/off for me, but the new version did seem to be that little bit easier, and left a very nice deep look to the blue.

Nice shine! The colour is great too - so much potential for buying multiple products to get that elusive "deepest shine". Every time I order something its " that's me done for a long time" My wife now knows better.

lol, I know what you mean about new products and that elusive perfect shine, Peter. My arsenal of products just keep multiplying.

thanks Paul. Yeah, the car came up a treat today. Hopefully the next layer will just add to it.

thanks guys.

guapsnaman,

Peugeot do make nice cars, it's just a shame that build quality could be better inside. Great engines though, especially the diesels. I still get 50-55mpg from mine around town.

Yes, its the new EX with carnauba, Rich. As it's mainly for my car, I always get the one with carnauba.

I havent used the older Ex in a while to be honest, but I would have remembered a deep finish like this. Applied a layer 2 weeks ago, just because i hadn't used it in such a while.

I was going to put another layer on this morning, but it's been raining here. If it dries up, i'll have a go later.

It may have been a fluke on my part, taking the pic at the right time with right lighting.... I hope not though lol

Argh pants just looked in the spares cupboard and still have another spare bottle off EX in there as it is, must resist buying more!

Never mind something to look forward to....

Car looks good, did you noticed any other differences apart from apperance is it still easy on and off. EX has always seemed a little on the thick side any change there?

PS chucking it down here with thunder, now my hang over is gone wanted to go and spit shine the 182 with some souveran and my new pakshaks. :(

Ive never usd the older EX, but the new one is still fairly thick. It spreads easily enuogh with a fairly damp micro applicator.

Yeah Rich,

As JBM said, the new one is still quite thick, but I just use a damp mf appy and it goes on great. It hazed up in about 5 min yesterday too.

I was looking forward to adding another layer today, but it's rained most of the day here.

Very nice work :up

I am currently trying EX-P over EGP, seems to give the same kind of glow as wax but I am hoping it will last longer
