This is the 2nd vehicle I have done for the same client. First one was the 7up Emerald Green LX convertible Mustang I did about a month ago.

He bought this 2017 Shelby GT350 recently and want to protect as much as possible seeing it was new. It came to me with some normal road grime etc only because he didn`t want to wash it or do anything until after I had done my work.

Upon arrival.

Prepping.

Wheels- Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel, LATA

Paint foamed and washed- IGL wash.

Decon- 3D BDX, Meguiars clay bar, Uber rinseless wash as lube

Engine bay was steamed to remove minor dirt etc. The windshield cowl was coated.

Next was the wheels and wells. Wheels were removed, decon`d again and coated. Wells were steamed and coated as well as the calipers.

All exterior plastic trim was coated as well.

The paint was in next to perfect shape. The main body got a one step with Menzerna sf3800, Rupes yellow pad and BOSS G21. The piano black spoiler and mirrors and rear valence got m205 follwed by Menzerna sf3800.

Paint was coated with IGL Quartz+. Exterior glass was also coated.

Interior received a UV protectant, fabric treatment and leather conditioner.

Exhaust tips were polished with McKee`s fast metal polish

nice work
what kind of steamer to you have?
are you coating the wells with Dlux or something else?

Thanks bud. Using a McCullough 1375 steamer. Great investment! The wheel wells were coated in IGL trim.

I have used most of the IGL line at this point. I haven`t used Kenzo which is there flagship coating. Being it`s a separate certification I`m working on it still.

Simply put. There stuff delivers. Only little gripe I have is the 2hr cure time between layers and all there coatings require 2 layers. But they do apply very nicely.

Totally agree bud. I said the same thing!
