Looking to clean and protect my rims. What would good product choices be to clean, polish, and wax? Fords site says they are machined aluminum with painted pockets. I would like to get this done wile I`m under 100 miles :)

Thanks

Wouldn`t even bother coating.

Just clean them with HydroFoam when new. Then repeat every few washes.

A few reasons why I prefer this:

1. Beads as good as any coating.

2. Wheels do not have to be removed to use.

3. Coating gets on every nook and cranny of the wheel.

4. Absolutely requires 0.0% effort if you are cleaning the wheels anyway.

5. While most coatings will die in a year on wheels - HydroFoam is renewed every time you use it to clean your wheels.

6. It`s cheap. The 1.5 oz it takes to clean 4 wheels cost about $2.

Wow, 28 bucks for 4 oz`s.... How may times can you do the wheels with that?
Not sure about the hydro foam...thats more of a complete wash/wax right?

Thanks guys.... Bought a woolies stick (18 inch) and some Mckees37 wheel coating with some sonas wheel cleaner. But went into the garage and realized I`m out of tire cleaner. Any recommendations on that and dressing? Does or has everyone moved to a water based dressing now?
