2016 Mazda 3 Paint Correction

Hey Guys,

Since we have a couple day stretch I was hoping to start working on my Mazda 3. It`s loaded with holograms and RIDS from the dealer, It`s bad. I know Mazda is notorious for soft thin paint as well as paint thickness greatly varied from panel to panel and sometimes within a panel. I`m hoping someone tackled one before and has some advice.

My possible game plans right now is to go with products that have a pad dependent cut. I also know that I don`t have a lot of paint to work with so I`m trying to make this a two step with Essence Primer being my last step. I`m trying to avoid cutting a bunch of paint. And of course test, test, test.

Optimum Hyper Polish - Orange Foam or MF cutting disc.
Wolfgang Uber Compound: Start with White Foam and go orange or green depending on test panel.
HD Polish : MF cutting disc, Orange Foam.
M101: Trying to avoid it on soft Mazda paint but it might work on a polishing pad.
I will be finishing it up with Essence Primer so it`s getting LSP on the last step.

You didn`t mention color or year. Those have factors as well since black is usually the soft one.

Griot’s correction cream, use it on any pad you want for the cut you need. Even on soft paint it can finish wax ready.
