2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - (Paint Correction w/ CQUK coating)

The owner of this Jeep contacted me after running it through an automatic car wash. He had owned the vehicle for one week at the time and it had done damage visible damage to the paints surface in the form of scratches and swirls. At the time of inspection I though a single-stage correction would be all it needed.

PAINT CORRECTION PROCESS
blog_401147_2380305_1395624136.jpg

After having the vehicle clean and seeing that actual true condition of the paint, I was shocked at the condition. I couldn't believe a vehicle that was only 4 weeks old could look like this. I am thinking this is a combination of dealer prep work and the automatic car wash.

This is after my first test spot with my Rupes 15 using Optimum Hyper Polish on a orange LC cutting pad. I was not happy with these results and tried another test spot using FG400 on an orange LC cutting pad and I was still not removing enough of the marks. I proceeded to send the client pictures and ask if he would like me to proceed to completing a dual-stage correction on the vehicle. Once it was decided I moved onto using Meguairs M105/D300 on a Megs MF pad, which was then followed up with CarPro Reflect on a black LC finishing pad.

This was after the final polishing was completed and the vehicle received an IPA wipe down followed by a CarPro Eraser whipe down. At this point the vehicle was ready to receive the CQuartz UK coating.

Wow, excellent work. It's rare to see a Jeep Wrangler polished to such a high standard, but they look great when done right!

Yes the client was extremely happy with it. I was pretty pleased with how it came out.
